Another single drop and another Miike Snow fan left hanging for more from this Album. "You ... say ... isn't it hard?" Not the most upbeat of hooks, but Miike Snow makes it work in their new single, "Paddling Out," the first official single off their forthcoming second album, "Happy To You," which drops March 27. The beat stutters and stops infectiously as the disco-tinged track goes on: Just try not to dance.

[Alternative] Oberhofer - Heart

I've followed Oberhofer quite loosely, there's a lot to like about him but there's still a lot i don't know about him. “HEART” is sweeping and grandiose in a mature, considered way I haven’t heard from Oberhofer before – it hangs on to his knack for simple, catchy melodies and lovelorn lyrics and introduces some haunting orchestral elements, and the final product is just as charming and sincere as ever

[Alternative] Fun. - One Foot

"One Foot" - a loud brass filled track that marches through your eardrums and stubbornly refuses to escape your brain until it's good and ready to leave. [Indie - Rock] Now, Now - School Friends

Refreshing, simple — refreshingly simple. Short and sweet like the Juno version of, “Anyone Else But You.” Either way, “School Friends” feels prepubescent. It has a vulnerability to it that is adolescent, but not so much as to alienate an older generation. The diction of the lyrics instantly reminded me of Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8ter Boi“. There, I said it.

[Pop - Rock] PAPA - I Am the Lion King

With its ticklish guitar line and groovy groove, “I Am the Lion King” — the first single from Papa — has plenty of spring in its step. Daniel Presant, is also the drummer for Girls, and just finished a tour on which he did double duty, with Papa opening for the San Francisco outfit. You’ll likely hear more of Papa’s indie soul-pop soon; the band’s “A Good Woman Is Hard to Find” EP was released last week, and recording a full-length album is nigh.

[Funk-Disco] Foster the People - Don't Stop (TheFatRat Remix)

Having seen countless failed attempts to remix songs by FOP I'm glad to acknowledge that TheFatRat has created an absolute banger with this remix. I mean the song was already catchy to begin with, but adding a little bit of funk to the song just tipped it over the edge to greatness.
